Raelea Webster, LPC
"I find it an honor when someone is willing to share their story with me and grants me access into their emotional space. It is there that I can view another's world from their perspective and effectively help them work toward growth."
About Me
My name is Raelea Webster and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania.
I am passionate about equipping clients with their own helpful tools to foster growth. Being able to cope with anxiety through grounding techniques, mindfulness meditation, and relaxation skills allows the individual to be proactive in their mental health journey. I find it beneficial to locate origins of negative thinking and beliefs that contribute to depression, while building a more helpful mindset. In addition, we can gain an understanding of what anxiety and depression is and how it affects the mind and body.
As a cancer survivor more than five years in remission, I have experienced what it’s like to start completely anew. Life-threatening diagnoses, chronic illness, and physical pain can be confusing, anxiety provoking, frustrating, and lonely. I am passionate about helping others navigate through these challenges and, rather than fight them, find ways to live alongside them to create a meaningful life.
Therapy can be a conversation; an exchange of thoughts and ideas rather than instruction giving. It’s a time for us to brainstorm what works best for you and help you feel empowered to manage life’s obstacles. My therapeutic style is a mix of Person Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. If desired, I can tailor our therapeutic approach to incorporate your faith or spirituality.
